Canada’s Wonderland is the only theme park that is within a reasonable drive from where I live. This is my 4th year getting a season’s pass and according to my prediction, I see that the number will only continue to increase. I also predicted it during my 1st year of being a season’s pass holder, so… yeah, you get the point.
Let’s stop and think about it.
I am in my 20s and damn I’m feeling old! Canada’s Wonderland seems to be associated with kids. I agree. However, most people forget that the thrill rides were made for people like me, adults. Basically, what I’m trying to get across is that I feel no shame in getting a season’s pass 4 years in a row hahaha. Still not convinced?
The Leviathan is a big blue roller coaster that reaches 306 feet and goes at a speed of 148km/h. Now that’s fast!
What’s cool about this ride is that parts of the ride are outside of the entrance. You will be able to see and get the feeling of what to expect even from your car! No surprises.
I bet you are jealous! Or, maybe you’re more scared. Whichever one suits you best.
Next is Flight Deck. Flight Deck is an intense roller coaster. It has the speed, the turns, the flip, the pains, but more importantly, it has the adrenaline! The reason why it is so intense is because it mimics the feeling of flying an F-14 fighter jet (sorry mom). It is also known for being an ear/head banging ride. For those of you who have earrings, let me give you a tip. Just take them off. It’s okay, you can thank me later.
“Mom, guess what?”
“Oh no, what did you do today, honey?”
“Nothing too dangerous. I FINALLY know what it feels like to be inside an F-14 fighter jet.”
“WHATTT, ARE YOU SERIOUS!?”
As of now, Flight Deck is my favorite ride. It may be the scariest ride at Canada’s Wonderland and I absolutely love it. It feels that much more extreme when my feet are swinging in the air.
Canada’s Wonderland may be a place for kids, but it will always be a place for me when I’m in need of an adrenaline rush or when I feel like being a kid again. Here is a true testament to what I’m like even outside of Canada’s Wonderland hahaha.
How convinced are you now?
