The Bose SoundTrue In-Ear Headphones come in three colors: black, white, and cranberry. They sell for $99.99 at Bose and Bestbuy. You can find them in other stores locally or if you are looking for them online, Amazon is a good place.
Inside the box, it includes:
- SoundTrue in-ear headphones
- 3 pairs of StayHear tips (S,M,L)
- Carrying case
- Clothing clip
Just like all of Bose’s in-ear headphones, the SoundTrue in-ear is perfect for people who don’t like to have ear tips that jam into their ears. The StayHear tips were designed to look like a wing that sits loosely and comfortably in your ears. It comes in three sizes: small, medium, and large.
When I opened the box, the default size of the StayHear tips on the headphones were medium. I had trouble putting them in my ears, so I changed to a smaller size. I really liked the fit, it was comfortable to wear, and it kept the buds locked in.
These headphones weren’t designed to be noise cancelling. It will let a little bit of sound in, but I don’t find it a problem. Bose does make nose cancelling headphones, but they are expensive. The QuietComfort 20i Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones are sold for $329.99.
This model doesn’t come with an integrated remote with microphone for cell phone calls. There is another model that comes with it and sells for $129.99, $30 more than this.
The sound that comes out of these headphones are amazing. They produce deep and clear tones with crisp highs and natural lows. It includes the Bose TriPort technology that delivers natural lows, clear vocals, and instrumental tones.
Another item that was included in the box was a carrying case. With the price of these headphones, I believed that it was necessary to include a carrying case. The carrying case is just okay. It felt cheap and inside the case, there were no pockets. I don’t see myself using this case a lot.
The sound and comfort are great compare to Sol Republic Amps. After a few hours of using the Sol Republic Amps, my ears started to hurt. I had no problem with using Bose SoundTrue In-Ear headphones during long flights. It may be a bit expensive, but it was a great buy!
